Accused cop killer expected back in court on Tuesday

GONZALES, La. (BRPROUD) – Almost one week after pleading not guilty to multiple charges in Livingston Parish, Matthew Mire is returning to court on Tuesday, January 11.

This time, Mire is expected to appear in Ascension Parish.

Prosecutors are planning to seek the Death Penalty as Mire is accused of killing Master Trooper Adam Gaubert and Pamela Adair.

Mire allegedly committed crimes in East Baton Rouge Parish, Livingston Parish and Ascension Parish.
