Aerial mission happening in EBR Parish due to high mosquito numbers and West Nile Virus


EMARC: Aerial mission being done "in response to high mosquito numbers and West Nile Virus."

According to the CDC, West Nile virus (WNV) is the leading cause of mosquito-borne disease in the continental United States.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – If the weather cooperates, there will be a spray mission over a section of Baton Rouge on Tuesday night.

E.B.R.P Mosquito Abatement & Rodent Control says the mission will begin at 8:30 p.m. and “take place in the southern portion of the parish, around the Highland Road area..”
