All state casinos shutting down over coronavirus concerns

BATON ROUGE, La. (NBC Local 33)(Fox 44) – The ongoing spread and concerns of COVID-19 is now hitting the state’s casinos.

All 20 casinos will close down at midnight and for 14 days, according to Chairman Ronnie Jones of the Louisiana Gaming Control Board.

He also said the two week period is subject to change, depending on if an extension is needed.
