APSO asking for public’s help with recent diesel theft

DARROW, La. (BRPROUD) – The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking everyone to take a look at this video below.

According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, “On September 13, at 12:10 a.m., the occupants of a white or possibly silver in color crew cab truck (unknown make or model) stole approximately $1,500 in diesel from a construction site in the new subdivision of Riverton on Hwy 22.”

The video shows a truck leaving the premises after two people take “diesel from the heavy equipment tank.”

APSO is asking the public to look out for a truck that has these features:

  • Appears to have a black diesel tank in the bed
  • Running lights on the roof
