GONZALES, La. (KLFY)– Starting today, the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is collecting unused medical supplies.
APSO says those supplies “will be donated to local hospitals and nursing homes that are in need.”
A list of personal protective equipment (PPE) that will be accepted can be found below:
- Hospital masks
- Goggles
- Face shields
- Medical gloves
- Hand sanitizer
If you are able, APSO asks that people drop off supplies at their training center which is located at 9094 St. Landry Rd. in Gonzales.
The sheriff’s office is accepting new (PPE) between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
