Arrest made in case of recent vehicle fire on Ben Hur Rd.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A man is under arrest in connection with an arson fire on Ben Hur Rd.

Trey C. Adams was arrested earlier this week after fire investigators figured out that a vehicle fire was intentially set.

The vehicle fire took place next to an apartment building.

A 2019 Chevy Camaro was destroyed due to the fire.

Fire investigators have video evidence which they believe shows a man wearing the same clothes at a nearby gas station prior to the fire as well as the at the apartment complex at the time of the fire.

Further investigation led to the arrest of Trey Adams.

Adams is facing one count of Aggravated Arson.

Damages from the fire are estimated at $30,000.

Adams has been released from the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
