NEW INFO: Total of three arrests made in deadly shooting of man on Crestwood

UPDATE:

Two more people have been arrested in this case.

22-year old Tyler Westmore along with 20-year old Darnell Mackyeon were both arrested today after being apprehended by the LSP Fugitive Task Force.

Both were later booked in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on the charge of 1st Degree Murder.

BATON ROUGE, La. (NBC Local 33)(Fox 44) – Baton Rouge Police say they made an arrest in the deadly shooting of a man found dead in a front yard.

Police say 24-year-old Bono Kollie was arrested Thursday for the shooting death of 25-year-old Jermiquec Goings. Kollie was apprehended by the Louisiana Fugitive Task Force in Reserve.

Kollie was brought back to Baton Rouge and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for 1st Degree Murder.

Police said Goings was found in the 3000 block of Crestwood Street, lying in a yard dead from apparent gunshot wounds around 7:11am Tuesday morning.

Detectives said the killing was tied to drug activity.
