Arrests made in deadly shooting of 25-year-old last month

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 33-year-old Christopher Nixon and 35-year-old Reco Hayes are behind bars in connection with a recent murder on April 19.

On that Monday, 25-year-old George Stevenson was found shot inside a vehicle.

The deadly shooting took place on Napoleon St.

The U.S. Marshal’s Service made the arrests and both men are facing these charges:

  • 1st Degree Murder
  • 2 counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder

Nixon and Hayes are both in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
