The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office was called to the 11000 block of Hooper Rd. on Sunday, June 7.
Authorities arrived around 5:30 p.m. and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds inside the home.
The man was identified as 33-year-old Taylor Dean who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The ensuing investigation found that Dean was transported to the home by one of the suspects.
Upon arrival, an argument occurred between the two men.
The affidavit states that the argument became physical and at some point, the homeowner shot Dean in the head.
“As the victim lay dead or dying on the floor, the accused and the co-defendant began to smoke narcotics and cigarettes,” according to the affidavit.
The duo continued to smoke narcotics and cigarettes while Dean lay dead on the ground.
Both talked about how to dispose of the body.
The accused in this case decided to assist the homeowner with the removal of Dean’s body from the premises.
After there were no more drugs, the accused brought up the idea of going to get more drugs.
After leaving the residence, the accused called 911.
Bond has been set at $250,000 for Leray and there is no reported bond for Robertson at this time.
