BATON ROUGE, La. — Police are investigating the death of a teenage girl who was killed in what they’re calling a targeted attack while she was traveling along I-10 Saturday night.
Baton Rouge police say 17-year-old, Nykobia Keller was shot and killed around 10:30 that night, near the Hollywood exit. The victim’s aunt said Keller is leaving behind a four-year-old son.
“She loved her baby, her baby was her world. She actually did better than most adults, I know. She was smart and outgoing. She loved to dance,” said Ashley Keller, the victim’s aunt. “She just was a normal teenager. And we definitely want justice. We are not going to stop until the person responsible for it is held accountable.”
No arrests have been made yet and police say they have yet to pinpoint a suspect.
