BATON ROUGE, La. (BRProud) – A local band is going to play a two-hour concert in the Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge parking lot on Monday, May 11.

This is not just any concert as the Musical Director has a special reason for taking part in this free show.

The father of B Street Benny Musical Director Brad Lewis is fighting Leukemia and recently spent time at Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge.

The strict visitation rules at all hospitals in the state prevented Brad Lewis from seeing his father in the hospital.

Brad’s father returned home from the hospital and had nothing but good things to say about Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge.

Brad’s father, Harmon “Joe” Lewis very much wanted to show his gratitude for how well he was taken care of at the hospital.

Brad concurred and decided to have the B Street Benny Band play a free show for the healthcare workers at Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge.

The concert at the hospital is for Ochsner staff only, but the public can watch live at this link.
