“Back the Ride and First Responders” at John Schneider Studios community outreach event

HOLDEN, La. (BRPROUD) – Hurricane Ida ran through Livingston Parish and left damage in its wake.

John Schneider Studios took a hard hit and recovery has been an ongoing process for the Dukes of Hazzard star.

On Saturday, September 4, the day was spent cleaning up Miss Shirley’s.

Having suffered damage, Schneider is still looking to give back to the community.

On the 20th anniversary of September 11, John Schneider Studios is opening its doors for a free community outreach event.

If you would like to attend, bring a lawn chair and help support Gulf Coast Brotherhood Ride, Sheriff Jason Ard of Livingston Parish and the Livingston Parish Fire Protection District #10.

Schneider says, “All photo op proceeds will go to these three pillars in the community.”

The event is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. and will include a performance by John Schneider and his band.

After the concert is over, stay and watch Stand on It.

Schneider plans to have a vendor at JSS on Saturday night.

At 10 a.m. on the following day, Church at Singing Waters begins with Keith Burns, Cody McCarver and #cowboychurch.
