BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baker Heritage Museum is calling on writers and poets age 18 and up to share their original work as part of the museum’s Black History Month celebration.
This virtual event will have the theme “Use Your Voice,” and members of the public are encouraged to share their thoughts and creative pieces that reflect aspects of Black history, culture and lifestyle, according to a City of Baker press release.
Those looking to submit their works for the event can begin by filling out a form here.
