Missing Baker man with alzheimer’s found safe

Errol Bowen has been found by local officials.

They say the man is safe and is being checked out at a local hospital.

The public is thanked for their assistance.

BAKER, La. (LOCAL 33/FOX 44) – Baker Police officers are looking for a missing man with alzheimer’s.

Officers said 86-year-old Errol Bowen was last seen on Tuesday morning at approximately 11:00 am at his home at 2511 McHugh Rd. 

Bowen was last seen wearing a blue-jean denim jacket and white baseball style cap. It was reported that Bowen suffers from Alzheimer’s and Heart disorders. 

Bowen does not have a car. Police believe he walked away from his house in an unknown direction. 

Bowen’s whereabouts are unknown at this time, so Baker Police Department is asking that if anyone sees, has seen Bowen or if they have any information in reference to Bowen, please contact Baker Police Department at 225-775-6000 ext. 1.
