The Baton Rouge Area Chamber announced Friday who will serve as the organization’s board chair for 2020.
BRAC selected Flynn Foster, the CEO and president of Guaranty Corporation and Guaranty Media, to fill that role.
“More than 800 thousand of us call the Baton Rouge Metro home,” Foster said. “Taking care of our home and making it a better place to live have never been more important. BRAC, in partnership with many other organizations and individuals, will continue to help our corner of the world thrive and grow.”
Foster joined Guaranty in 2010, and he previously worked in the financial services business for 18 years. He has served as a Louisiana Art & Science Museum board member, the Visit Baton Rouge Convention Bureau chairman and the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters chairman, according to Kelly Bienn of BRAC.
“2020 is a big year for the organization, as we will be crafting our next five-year regional strategy,” BRACC CEO and President Adam Knapp said. “Flynn’s energy and breadth of understanding will be an asset as we finish strong for 2020 and chart our future direction.”
