BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Capital area authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed a victim at gunpoint early Sunday (December 18) morning.

According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO), the incident occurred shortly after 7 a.m. in the 7900 block of Essen Park Avenue, which is near the Racetrack gas station and Drury Inn & Suites in the Essen Lane area.

Deputies say the suspect pulled a gun on a victim, robbed the targeted individual, and then fled the scene in a white Chevrolet Tahoe.
