She said, her parents took the trip not knowing the wide spread effects the Coronavirus is causing.

“You see these things on the news, you know I remember during SARS outbreak like wow, that’s crazy good thing we aren’t over there at the time. Now, it’s like we’re living this, like this is actually happening to my family” said Meyer.

Her dad who is a diabetic, is now running out of medication. She said, the time is now ticking to get him home before any medical emergency occurs.

“It’s frustrating because it feels like a situation where I have no control.”

Dealing with this, what is your biggest fear?

“That medicine running out is probably the big concern.”

Adam Meyer said, there are so many unanswered questions and dealing with this issue has been stressful for his family.

“It’s definitely a trying time to get the information because right now, nobody has any answers, I mean a lot of countries are trying to get out people and it’s an exit ban in place and nobody coming in or out so it’s very concerning” said Meyer.

As the couple continues working to get their loved ones home. They are pleading for help of any kind, to end this horrific nightmare.

“We just want them back in the state and we’ll go from there.”

“If anybody can help us or information or some, a phone number I can call and find out exactly what is going on with getting a spot on the airplane. That would be greatly appreciated.”
