Baton Rouge Fire Department responds to small fire at Tigerland bar

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A small fire broke out Tuesday evening at one of the Tigerland bars near LSU’s campus.

Baton Rouge Fire Department spokesperson Justin Hill confirmed that the fire started outside of The House in Tigerland. A cooler, which was turned into an office, caught fire.

Firefighters contained the blaze to that area, preventing the inside of the building from catching fire.

Fire investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire, and an investigation in ongoing.
