BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – As the LSU Tigers prepare for their Championship run during the 2022-2023 football season, members of the Baton Rouge Fire Department (BRFD) are engaging in specialized training courses to ensure that all of Tiger Stadium’s football games will be safe.

Local firefighters and other emergency responders have been teaming up to refine their skills in regards to safety at local events.

For example, during the week of August 15, BRFD ran through pre-planning exercises that honed firefighter’s abilities to react promptly and efficiently during potential emergency situations at Tiger Stadium.

In regards to the specialized training, BRFD said, “We all want our Tigers to be successful and we, as firefighters, want our events to be safe. While you have been reading the sports columns our firefighters have been studying the stadium layout and scenarios to be ready for any emergency.
Geaux Tigers, and we all wish for a successful and SAFE season!”
