Are you looking for a safe way to help amid the COVID-19 pandemic? Now you have a chance. Baton Rouge General Hospital (BRG) is collecting cards for patients who are in need of a smile, a kind word or just a pretty picture. The cards will be distributed daily on various floors at the hospital, and in the ICU.

The card project is in partnership between BRG’s Arts in Medicine program and the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. BRG’s Arts in Medicine program promotes healing through creative activities for patients. You can find activities such as painting and live music on any given day around the hospital campus.

Cards can be sent to:

Arts in Medicine

8585 Picardy Ave.

Baton Rouge, LA  70809

BRG does not need a name or address for a specific patient. Also for the safety of patients please steer clear of glue or glitter on your cards.
