Baton Rouge General to allow limited visitation for patients

Baton Rouge General is allowing limited visitation starting Monday as restrictions in response to the coronavirus pandemic loosen.

Patients will be allowed one visitor who can visit daily between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., according to BRG spokeswoman Katie Johnston.

Visitation will be allowed for patients who have not tested positive for COVID-19. Visitors must be at least 18 and are required to wear a mask when walking to the patient’s room and when healthcare providers enter the room.
