BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — In honor of Child Passenger Safety Week, a Baton Rouge injury law firm will be giving away car seats.
According to a release, Dudley DeBosier will give away 20 Evenflo Tribute Tribute Convertible car seats. The law firm said they are committed to road safety advocacy and the car seat has a five-point harness to protect children as they grow.
“Child safety is fundamental to our Louisiana community commitment. We believe that every
child should have the protection they need while traveling in vehicles. Our car seat giveaway
contributes to Child Passenger Safety Week and enhances road safety for our youngest
community members,” said managing partner Chad Dudley.
Car accidents are the leading cause of injuries and fatalities in young children. The Centers for Diesease Control and Prevention reported a 71%-81% reduction in injury risks during a crash.
