Baton Rouge Library set to host family-friendly Mini Maker Faire

BATON ROUGE, La. (NBC Local 33)(FOX 44) — Families throughout the Capital City are invited to attend the 6th annual Mini Maker Faire at the Main Library on Saturday, Oct. 19.

From 10 a.m. thru 5 p.m., families can experience stilt walkers, special performances, a fashion show and more. Children will have the chance to interact with projects that utilize technology, arts and crafts and more.

Organizers said attendees will also learn how to repurpose used clothing with the LSU Textiles department, explore the wonders of ‘Wizard of Oz’ with the Knock Knock Children’s Museum and see pedal-powered machines from Front Yard Bikes.
