Baton Rouge man among six arrested on various firearm and drug charges

PLAQUEMINE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office has been busy lately.

The sheriff’s office continues to work on getting drugs and guns off the street.

IPSO is reporting multiple arrests over the last few days.

According to Sheriff Brett Stassi, “deputies with the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Terrance Holmes, 3/26/90 of Napoleonville and Michael Lewis, 3/5/94, of Belle Rose for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.”

Four more arrests were also made by the sheriff’s office and these involved drugs and guns.

The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office is providing a list of who was arrested and what they are charged with below:

  • 32-year-old Arron Brantley, of Texas is charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule I narcotics and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
  • 23-year-old Ray Gutierrez, of Texas is charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule I narcotics and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
  • 24-year-old Darrell Early, of Baton Rouge is charged with reckless operation, possession of a stolen firearm, illegally supplying a felon with a firearm, and prohibited acts, schedule I.
  • 20-year-old Jamal Jordan, of Plaquemine is charged with illegal possession of stolen firearms and disregarding a stop sign
