Baton Rouge man arrested for double homicide

Baton Rouge,La. (BRPROUD)- Baton Rouge Police Detectives and LSP Fugitive Task Force arrested Demarcus Jones, 37, in connection to a double homicide which led to the death of Burnell Williams, 40, and Jeremy Sincere, 26.

Investigators believe that Jones is connected to the shooting on July 29.

Williams and Sincere were found shot in a vehicle at 10100 block of Avenue E. The two died at the scene.

Jones was booked in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on two counts of first degree murder and multiple narcotics charges.
