DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (BRPROUD) – A person from Baton Rouge was killed in a crash involving multiple vehicles early on Sunday, Oct. 22. Micah Williams, 24, of Baton Rouge, died in a crash that happened around 4 a.m. on I-12 East. LSP said the deadly crash took place “west of Range Avenue.”

LSP said, “A 2007 Ford Edge also traveling eastbound in the left lane struck the rear end of the Toyota.”
Pleasant was hurt in the crash and taken to a local hospital. He was not the only driver involved in this crash who was taken to a hospital. LSP said, “All other drivers involved in the crash were transported to local hospitals and treated for minor injuries.”
The ensuing investigation led to Pleasant being arrested on these charges:
- DWI (1st offense)
- vehicular homicide
- vehicular negligent injuring (2 counts)
