BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — On Tuesday, the Baton Rouge Police Department arrested a man allegedly linked to a Dec. 19, 2022 homicide.
According to police, James Weber, 29, is a suspect in the shooting of 28-year-old Timothy Stewart on Dougherty Drive. Detectives obtained a warrant and proceeded to arrest Weber.
Documents state that Stewart was shot after an altercation inside a convenience store in the 2800 block of Dougherty Drive around 9:30 a.m. Dec. 19.
Weber has been booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
