BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A local Baton Rouge restaurant is honoring an LSU student who was killed last September.
Allison Rice, 21, was found shot in her car on Government Street on Sept. 16, 2022. Rice worked at The Shed BBQ while still in school studying marketing.
As a memorial to the one-year anniversary of Rice’s death, her former employer is honoring her during this weekend’s game against Mississippi State.
According to the restaurant, they will be serving Rice’s favorite adult drink at a discounted price during the game. At halftime, a special toast and moment of silence will be given in Rice’s name.
Police have not yet identified a suspect in Rice’s case.
