Baton Rouge sailor serves with Coastal Riverine Squadron 3

Quartermaster Third Class Joshua Stephens is a Baton Rouge native assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron 3, according to Chief Petty Officer Nelson Doromal.

Stephens is pictured holding an M2A1 .50-caliber machine gun aboard a Mark VI Patrol Boat.

According to Navy Office of Community Outreach, “the Coastal Riverine Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways.”
