A Baton Rouge school is closing its doors for the rest of the week due to flu.
The Brighton School posted on social media on Tuesday it is closing “to safeguard our students and faculty from the flu.”
A message in the comments section under the post explained that many of the school’s students already have the flu. It went on to say the school closed for the rest o the week for precautionary reasons for those who have not caught the flu while also giving the students who are sick time to get well.
According to its about us page on its website, The Brighton School is dedicated to the teaching children with dyslexia and dyslexia-related learning difference in grades 1 – 12.
The Brighton School is expected to start classes again on Monday, October 7th.
