BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Symphony is getting ready to celebrate its 75th anniversary Lamar Family Chamber Series— with Clarinet player Mark Nuccio. This is the final show of the season at the First United Methodist Church.

The program for the evening will include Nino Rota’s Trio for Flute, Violin, and Piano; Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Eclogues for Flute, Viola and Guitar, Viola, and Harp; Ibert’s Cinq pièces en trio; and Schoenfield’s Trio for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano.
Mr. Nuccio officially began his position as Principal Clarinet with the Houston Symphony Orchestra in the 2016-17 season after seventeen years with the New York Philharmonic. He also serves as clarinet faculty at the University of Houston’s Moore School of Music.
