Be an angel and come take part in the 2021 Angel Adoption Day

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – On, Monday, November 15, a special event is taking place at the Charles R. Kelly Community Center.

With Christmas right around the corner, Councilwoman Erika L. Green is hosting a 2021 Angel Adoption Day.

The 2021 Angel Adoption Day is done “in connection with Toys for Tots.”

According to the City of Baton Rouge, “By adopting a child or a family of children, you will not only purchase gifts; rather you will share in the season of giving and place a smile on the face of a child in your community.”

Everyone is invited to take part in the 2021 Angel Adoption Day including local residents, organizations and businesses.

If you are interested in taking part, stop by the Charles R. Kelly Community Center between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and adopt an angel.

The Charles R. Kelly Community Center is located at 3535 Riley St.
