BESE to hold meeting to discuss Gov. Edwards’ mask mandate



BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education is meeting on August 18 in the Claiborne Building.

Among many items on the agenda, BESE is scheduled to talk about “and make a decision on Attorney General Jeff Landry’s opinion that BESE has the authority to decide if schools must follow the Governor’s mask mandate or not,” according to Cameras Protect Children.
