Boy Scout Troop 888 host Flag Retirement ceremony in honor of 9/11


BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD)- In honor of 9/11, the Boy Scout Troop 888  held their 10th annual 9-11 Remembrance and US Flag Retirement ceremony on September 8.

We will remember our Fallen Heroes from 9.11.2001, and all soldiers lost in any battle, war or acts of aggression against the United States of America in a solemn and patriotic ceremony. Over 100 US Flags, ‘no longer a fitting emblem for display’, will be properly retired from service in a controlled fire,” according to Boy Scout Troop 888.
