BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – As local law enforcement agencies move forward with efforts to connect with members of the community in the capital area, the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) has announced the location of its upcoming Community Walk and Talk event.
BRPD’s next weekly Community Walk and Talk will take place Thursday, July 7 in the Boulevard de Province area, off Old Hammond Highway.
Any area citizens interested in participating can meet with BRPD officers in the 1800 block of Boulevard de Province at 5 p.m. on the above date.
The weekly Community Walk and Talks are laid-back discussions designed to bridge the gap between police and residents of Baton Rouge’s neighborhoods.
Locals are welcome to discuss their concerns with officers during the chats.
