BRAC releases interactive map of regional COVID-19 test sites

News

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRProud) – Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) released today an interactive map of known COVID-19 test sites in the nine-parish Capital Region.

“We identified the need for ample COVID-19 testing capacity to support community and workplace safety as one of the essential criteria for sustainably opening the economy in our Safe at Work framework,” President and CEO of BRAC Adam Knapp said. “Our hope is that the map gives folks an easily accessible reference point on testing centers available to them, and encourages businesses and workers to remain vigilant in screening for signs of infection. Testing early and often will be important in minimizing a second wave.”

The map will be updated as new information and sites become available. Currently, the map is searchable by filters including parish, city, hours of operation, associated fees, and more. According to BRAC, Individual site locations are complete with contact information and site testing criteria.

The map may be accessed directly here, and is available at brac.org/recovery.
