The Baton Rouge Community College Workforce Development Expo and Open House will be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. to allow prospective students to tour the facility and enroll in classes.
Students can also look into the school’s medical, professional and skills training programs, meet professors and learn about funding opportunities at the open house, according to Kizzy Payton of BRCC.
The expo will showcase Workforce Development courses the school offers, including autocad, facilities maintenance, diesel mechanic, grant writing, HVAC, medical assistant, medical billing and coding, NCCER electrical, NCCER pipefitting, pharmacy technician and phlebotomy.
The event, which will be hosted by BRCC’s Workforce Division, will be held at the BRCC Acadian Site located at 3250 N. Acadian Thruway E. in Baton Rouge.
