BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Students from Baton Rouge Community College’s (BRCC) Nursing and Allied Health Division will be cheered on this Wednesday as they participate in a time-honored tradition.

BRCC says the Allied Health Pinning Ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and the Nursing Pinning Ceremony will follow at 1 p.m.

Both events will be held in the Magnolia Theater at the school’s Mid City Campus.

The ceremony is not the same as the formal graduation. Instead, the tradition signifies that each student has taken their place in the sisterhood and brotherhood of nurses and that they are now ready to serve as a healthcare professional.
