BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo will host “I Love my Zoo Day,” which includes a Safari amphitheater program, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Since Valentine’s Day is nearing, the event will include the “birds and bees” facts as they apply to the Zoo’s animals, according to Robyn Lott, the Zoo’s director of marketing and public relations.
Animal enrichments and special zoo keeper chats will occur throughout the day, and visitors will be able to make valentines for their favorite people or animals, Lott wrote.
This event is free to Friends of the Zoo members, but regular Zoo admission charges will be applied for the general public.
