Many of our viewers may be seeing smoke in both the downtown and mid-city areas.
There is no cause for alarm according to the Baton Rouge Police Department:
We have received several calls on a smoke or haze in the downtown, mid city areas. After investigation and several calls to surrounding areas we have pinpointed it to the sugar cane fields being burnt across the river.
