BRFD makes arrest in two-year-old arson case

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – On April 20, 2019, members of the Baton Rouge Fire Department were called to a blaze at a local apartment complex.

BRFD says, “Firefighters arrived on scene in the 3000 block of Byron St. to find a four unit apartment complex about 40 percent engulfed in flames.”

On Friday, October 22, investigators made an arrest in this case.

46-year-old Decilia Williams was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Arson.

The members of law enforcement assisted with the arrest of Decilia Williams:

  • EBRSO Fugitive Apprehension Team
