BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – An alleged bank robber is behind bars in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Floyd Hose, Jr., 37, was arrested “for his involvement in the robbery of Cottonport Bank,” according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

The alleged robbery took place just before 2:45 p.m. on Monday, December 5.

BRPD said “Hose robbed the bank and fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money.”

Detectives were able to determine that Hose was a suspect in this case.

After his arrest, Hose was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Wednesday, December 7.

Hose was charged with 1st Degree Robbery.

This is the second time that Hose. Jr. was arrested in less than a month.

Hose, Jr. was booked on Monday, November 21 and charged with Window Tint Violation, Possession with Intent to Distribute Narcotic Drugs Schedule I and Proper Equipment Required On Vehicles; Display of Plate.

The 37-year-old posted a bond of $10,200 and was released from prison four days later.

Cottonport Bank is located at 6500 Corporate Blvd.

The investigation remains ongoing.
