BRPD holding latest basic training graduation at local church

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Nine graduates are expected to be recognized for completing basic training at the BRPD Academy.

The graduates successfully got through 22 weeks of training in order to make the graduation ceremony.

The 87th BTA graduation is taking place on Monday morning at Istrouma Baptist Church.

The graduation ceremony is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, “The graduates will now move into the Uniform Patrol Division where they will participate in the Field Training Officer Program for the next several months.”
