BRPD identifies victim in drive-by shooting on N. 13th St.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a drive-by shooting at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28.

The deadly shooting took place on N. 13th St.

33-year-old Larry Winfrey was killed while sitting on a front porch with two other men.

The two unidentified men were 48-years-old and 76-years-old.

All three men “were gathered around the front porch when shots were fired from a passing vehicle,” according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Winfrey was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other two men sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital.
