BRPD investigating deadly overnight shooting on Chippewa St.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 26-year-old Jecody Ross, was shot and killed a little before 11:40 p.m. on Monday, July 19.

The deadly shooting took place in the 3600 block of Chippewa St.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, “Ross was found lying on the roadway outside his vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.”

The 26-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are still looking for a motive and suspect(s) in this deadly shooting.
