BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A man was shot and killed in Baton Rouge on Thursday night. The deadly shooting took place a little before 10:30 p.m. in the 12000 block of Robbie Avenue, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Cedrid Battiste, 46. BRPD confirmed that “Battiste was shot multiple times.” Investigators are still looking for a motive and suspect in connection with this deadly shooting.
