BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 19-year-old Alonge McClain was shot and killed last month.
Lazarius Johnson, 18, of 3006 68th Ave., was taken into custody six days after the shooting.
The Baton Rouge Police Department is reporting a second arrest in this case.
A second suspect, 18-year-old Cortez Watson, of 1620 Kilder St. is behind bars facing these charges:
- First Degree Murder
- Armed Robbery
- Illegal Use of a Weapon
BRPD says, “investigators believe that Watson is connected in the death of Alonge Mcclain.”
