BRPD: ‘Muncy Mac’ is behind bars facing multiple charges

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Search warrants that were executed on Thursday, July 2 led to the discovery of lots of drugs at two locations in the Capital City.

The search warrants were initiated at 8555 S. Flannery Apt. 329 and 1755 Oneal Lane #201.

As a result of the searches, Muncy McCalister aka ‘Muncy Mac’ was arrested and is facing multiple charges.

The charges are listed below:

  • PWITD Heroin
  • PWITD Meth
  • PWITD MDMA
  • Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia

After the arrest of ‘Muncy Mac,’ these items were found at a condo in the 12500 block of Old Hammond Hwy., “12 gauge bull-pup semi automatic shotgun (reportedly stolen out of Livingston Parish) AK-47 semi-automatic rifle (reportedly stolen out of Ascension Parish) and an AR-14 Assault rifle.”

More charges are coming for ‘Muncy Mac’ after this discovery on Thursday, July 2.

Besides what was found at the condo, these items were gathered from the other two locations:

  • 7 ounces of methamphetmine (approx. street value $5,600)
  • 1/2 ounce of heroin (approx. street value $1,000)
  • 1/2 ounce of MDMA
  • $4,083 (pending seizure)
  • 30.5 dosage units of clonazapam (Xanax)
  • 3 suboxone strips

DEA Baton Rouge and LPSO Narcotics assisted the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office with this case.
