BRPD: Teenager found shot to death in front yard

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department was called to the scene of a reported shooting a little before 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29.

Detectives arrived at 2100 block of Harelson Street and found 16-year-old Jamar Turnley had been “shot multiple times in the front yard and died at the scene.”

Investigators are looking for a motive and or suspects in this deadly shooting.
