News

“Yeah, a little bit petty. I mean it’s pretty funny. For them to be downing the home team like that, it’s no reason for it.”

New Orleans Saints fans are throwing a flag at Buffalo Wild Wings because of this tweet.

“I think that’s kind of bull crap. You want me to be honest, I think it’s stupid and petty” said Saints fan, Grantham Ray

In the tweet, the company said, New Orleans fans already drawing up lawsuits. Referencing lawsuits from last season, following the no-call scandal.

“I think it’s still a recent wound, I don’t think they should be making jokes about it. I think we’re all still upset about what happened last year” said Saints Fan, Nikolas Wismar.

The tweet started a twitter war, sending Saints fans ready to tackle the company. Firing back, one fan says, “this from basically the restaurant people go to when hooters or twin peaks has too long lines.” But, not all Saints fans took the tweet to heart.

“There’s definitely a line but I don’t necessarily know if this cross that line. I think it’s pretty funny so I think it’s right in line” said Saints fan, Ben Warren.

While many continue to attack the food chain online. Some fans say, they’ll just take a knee.

“We’re not even playing the rams anymore, we’re playing the refs.”

We apologize for our tweet, which was not meant to offend Saints fans. We intended to point out another bad call in a fun way. In fact, our Director of Social Media is a die-hard Saints fan who attended the NFC Championship game earlier this year.
